▍Where does the heat come out?
If you take apart the screen, you will understand: the temperature of the driver chip can reach 85℃ when it is working, and the power module is even hotter. The actual data show that ordinary LED screens have a power of 800W per square meter, and 60% of them are converted into heat. This is like lighting a bathroom heater light in a closed box. How long can it last without heat dissipation?

When I took it apart, I saw that the heat sink was rusted like a honeycomb, and the salt in the sea breeze nipped through the metal. Later it was replaced with stainless steel. Although it was a little more expensive, it had no heat dissipation failure in three years.
▍Personal opinion time
I think the future cooling technology must take the path of "both internal and external cultivation". Now some high-end screens have begun to use phase change materials. When the temperature is high, heat absorption and melting, and when the temperature is low, solidification and heat release. This trick is much more reliable than pure fan heat dissipation. However, the cost is still too high, and it is estimated that it will take two years to become popular.
Just remember this formula for ordinary users: Metal box is the foundation, air convection cannot be blocked, so clean the dust regularly. . If you have enough budget, you can directly use the liquid-cooled cooling system, although it is a bit expensive, but it can be used for five years without repair, which is more cost-effective.
