Are you a little confused when you just took over a large outdoor screen? The control card is like the heart of the display, but it always likes to play hide and seek. Last week, I helped the owner of an auto repair shop perform maintenance. He pointed at the black screen and cursed for three days. Don’t panic if there is a problem with the control card, follow this process:

1. Check the power indicator light (green light = normal)
2. Touch the heat sink temperature (it is considered safe within 55℃)
3. Look at the blinking frequency of the signal light (2 times per second is optimal)

During the heavy rain last month, three advertising screens in the commercial street went black. It turned out that water vapor entered the network port of the control card. I blew it with a heat gun at 60°C for ten minutes and it came back to life. Editor's point of view: Choosing a control card is like looking for a partner. You can't just look at appearance (functional parameters), but also look at "physical fitness" (protection level). It is recommended to focus on three points: does the manufacturer have a full-process quality inspection report (especially the 72-hour aging test), after-sales response speed (anyone who comes to the door for more than 24 hours is a hooligan), and whether there are real implementation cases (the most reliable ones used in sports venues). For those models exported to Japan and South Korea, the control cards have to pass the -40°C freezing test, and are still as stable as an old dog when used in the ice and snow in the north. Remember, there are only eight criteria for a good control card - it can be found, it can be taken apart, and it can be replaced quickly!
