The power consumption of a mobile phone screen is only a few watts, so why does the large LED screen always have tens of kilowatts? 1. Power is not a fixed number

Don't be fooled by a certain power parameter on the product page! This thing is the same as the battery level of a mobile phone.​Use more and consumes power faster​. Here we need to distinguish two concepts:

  • Peak power​: The maximum power consumption when the screen is completely white (for example, the outdoor advertising screen can reach up to 750 watts per square meter)
  • Average power​: The actual power consumption during daily playback (usually only about 40% of the peak value)

For example: a 100㎡ outdoor advertising screen with a theoretical maximum power of 87.5 kilowatts, and can be done with 35 kilowatts in daily use - equivalent to turning on 70 household air conditioners at the same time.

2. Five factors determine the speed of the meter
